Welcome
to STIX Didgeridoos
The
Didgeridoo is made from one of the Didgeridoo trees
called Eucalptus Miniata.
After carefully selecting
and cutting a tree that has been eaten by termites,
the Didgeridoo is then dried for up to one year. The
drying process reduces the chance of the Didgeridoo
cracking.
After shaping the Didgeridoo, the outside is
coated with up to 13 coats
of high quality paint. The inside of the instrument is
also coated with a sealer which also prevents cracks.
My Didgeridoo’s have been made with the quality of
sound and appearance in mind. All the care and time
that is taken building these sticks ensures that they
can endure the coldest European winter or the hottest
Australian summer.
